The Copper-Based Alloy Powder (Aluminum Bronze & Tin Bronze) range is developed for laser cladding, laser metal deposition (LMD), and powder-fed directed energy deposition (DED). These copper-based laser cladding powders are suitable for surface repair, wear protection, corrosion-resistant cladding, and remanufacturing of industrial components.
Available grades include aluminum bronze, tin bronze, and customized copper-alloy formulations. Aluminum bronze powders provide a combination of hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, while tin bronze powders offer good anti-friction and self-lubricating properties for sliding and bearing surfaces. Selected grades can achieve hardness values of up to 230 HB, depending on alloy composition and processing conditions.
Optimized particle morphology and flowability support stable powder feeding and consistent deposition. Under suitable laser cladding parameters, the powders can produce dense, low-porosity coatings with metallurgical bonding and support stable multi-layer deposition with a reduced cracking tendency.
These powders are well suited to hydraulic cylinders, bearings, bushings, wind power components, sliding surfaces, and other parts requiring dimensional restoration or wear-resistant surface enhancement. For customers seeking aluminum bronze and tin bronze powder for laser cladding repair, customized compositions and particle-size distributions are available according to the substrate, target hardness, coating thickness, and service conditions.
