The Nickel-Based Alloy Powder for Corrosion & Wear Resistance is developed for laser cladding, laser metal deposition (LMD), and powder-fed directed energy deposition (DED) on compatible steel substrates. This nickel-based laser cladding powder range is formulated to provide corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and reduced cracking tendency in demanding industrial environments.

Available options include low-carbon nickel-based grades for acidic and corrosive service, together with tungsten-reinforced nickel alloy powders for wear-resistant coating deposition. Custom alloy formulations are available to match specific substrate materials, operating media, target hardness, coating thickness, and service requirements.

Manufactured using gas atomization, the spherical powder particles provide good flowability and consistent delivery to the melt pool. Under suitable process conditions, the powders support stable deposition, metallurgical bonding, and dense, low-porosity coatings. They are suitable for component repair, corrosion-resistant cladding, wear-resistant surface enhancement, and remanufacturing of steel parts operating in corrosive or abrasive environments.
